The Currier Museum of Art believes in fostering a relationship between the visitor and the works of art in the museum's collection.
Docents and museum educators work to actively engage visitors of all ages during their museum experience, encouraging them to describe what they see and think about their reactions, drawing on each visitor's unique personality and experience.
Assistive listening systems are available for all public and private tours.

Private group tours of the museum can be arranged throughout the week. These tours are available to any group who would like to schedule a visit – college and university classes, bus tours, seniors groups, and other organizations.
Groups may choose from a variety of topics and themes listed below that focus on either general or specific parts of the museum's collections. (These themes can also be offered as community program at your site as a Currier on the Move program.)

 | Welcome to the Currier | 1 Hour | This tour includes collection highlights, architectural points, and exploration of special exhibitions throughout the year.
Private tour reservations: Adults: $10.00 per person admission, Seniors $9.00 per person, plus $45.00 per group of 15 for a tour. As a Currier on the Move program at your site: $50.00

 | Introduction to Exploring Art | 1 Hour | This tour will help visitors explore the basic tools and tips for 'looking' at art and examining color, line, and form; artistic movements; and changes in art history.

 | From Anonymous to Aponovich: NH History in Art | 1 Hour | This tour focuses on New Hampshire-based artists, or artists who have some connection to the region, from early colonial to contemporary artists.

 | Women in Art | 1 Hour | This tour will focus on works by and of women from the earliest eras in the collection to contemporary art. Explore the lives and styles of women artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Lila Cabot Perry, Louise Nevelson and others, and learn how artists have depicted the female subject.
