The 30,000 square-foot expansion to the museum, designed by Ann Beha Architects, will help us better serve our members and visitors by offering additional galleries to display 50% more of our world-class art collections and allow more room for special exhibitions; new classrooms to allow for more school visits; a larger auditorium for educational programs; a more spacious north entrance with an expanded museum shop, accessible first floor restrooms and seating areas and a dramatic winter garden for larger special events and informal community programs.
